Advanced amateurs are welcome to play with the orchestra for a provisional period of one concert cycle, with support of the board. After this concert, further membership is discussed and agreed with you, the conductor, the concertmaster and a board member. Interested parties may contact the orchestra via the CONTACT menu-button.
Some concerts require additional musicians, and in that case we use advanced amateurs or professionals.
Rehearsals
GSO rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7:30 to 10:15 pm in the Aloysius College, Schapenkamp 200, 1211 PB Hilversum. The entrance to the parking lot is on the back side, accessible from the Groest or Prins Bernhardstraat. If you set your navigation to Schapenstraat 33 it will guide you to the parking area for an apartment complex. In the back there is a steep driveway which is the entrance to the parking lot for St. Aloysius College. The gate is open from 6:45 to 7:30 pm to enter, and the gate opens automatically for exiting vehicles.

Dues
Membership dues are €240 per year, payable annually or periodically, as agreed with the treasurer. A membership year is from January to December.

Vacancies
Advanced amateur musicians, preferably with orchestral experience, are welcome to apply.
